For an uncomplicated entry into the world of thermal spraying or laser cladding, or where space is limited and mobile applications are possible, GTV compact systems are the perfect choice.

 

The GTV compact system is a mobile, mass flow-regulated control and operating unit, which is assembled from a gas cabinet (with integrated gas warning device), an electrical control cabinet, an operating panel and, depending on the process, a powder feeder. The performance of the compact spraying unit corresponds to a fixed installation, and the coating parameters are comparable to each other.

 

Due to the limited space available in the compact systems, integrated extensions of peripherals, e.g. additional powder feeding lines, are not possible. Customer-specific adaptations can be realized via external connections.

LASER
Compact equipment for Laser Cladding

Short description

The GTV compact laser system CladdOn is a convenient solution to combine the proven GTV powder feeding technology with a laser cladding system control and was developed for a quick and efficient entry into the world of laser cladding.

The process visualization and control is provided by a Siemens touch screen and a folding drawer with keyboard integrated in the front. All relevant process parameters can be read off or adjusted in the operator menu. Furthermore, a recipe storage and optionally a process data acquisition are integrated in the control unit.

The compact design on rollers enables flexible use of the system.

 

The basic equipment includes, for example:

  • Control unit for different laser sources
  • Process visualization for powder feed and laser control
  • Powder feeding unit with 2 integrated 1.5 l powder hoppers
  • Melt pool monitoring and nozzle adjustment via optical CCD camera
  • Dome pivot camera for cabin security

PLASMA
Compact equipment for the Plasma process

Short description

The GTV MF-P-1000 C is a mobile, mass flow controlled plasma system for atmospheric plasma spraying.

The ergonomically designed operator panel contains the entire electrical control system, which essentially consists of the Siemens PLC type S7 and the Siemens KTP 700 BASIC DP. The setting and management of the spraying parameters is handled via the touch screen of the operator panel. The actual operation of the system, however, is carried out via robust pushbuttons. The clear and very readable color monitor of the Siemens KTP 700 enables uncomplicated and clear process monitoring.

The components for a safe and reproducible gas control are installed in the gas control cabinet. The integrated powder feeder, together with the gas and control cabinet, forms a very compact "All in One" plasma system.

HVOF
Compact equipment for the HVOF process

Short description

The GTV-HVOF-MF-GLC is a mobile, mass flow controlled system for high velocity flame spraying.

The ergonomically designed operator panel contains the entire electrical control system, which essentially consists of the Siemens PLC type S7 and the Siemens KTP 700 BASIC DP. The setting and management of the spraying parameters is handled via the touch screen of the operator panel. The actual operation of the system, however, is carried out via robust pushbuttons. The clear and very readable color monitor of the Siemens KTP 700 enables uncomplicated and clear process monitoring.

The gas control cabinet houses the components for fuel gas and oxygen control, as well as the compressed air control. The HVOF torch is connected via quick-release couplings.
