In the field of research and development, GTV has for many years been involved in the technological development and enhancement of coating processes. In numerous research projects, sponsored by the BMBF, the AiF and the ISB, and in cooperation with partners from various research institutes, we are constantly pushing forward the development of innovative coating processes. In addition we perform independent activities and developments such as industrial projects in the field of thermal spraying and laser cladding.
Last but not least, the development of our own products and equipment technology also enjoys a high priority in our new competence center.

In addition, our close cooperation with numerous institutes or universities equipped with GTV systems provides us with another huge development platform. For example, we have one of the greatest potentials for developing customized processes and hardware for the production of coatings using thermal spraying and laser cladding. Shaping and imparting knowledge
We do not keep our know-how to ourselves, but are happy to share it with our business partners, within the participation in professional associations with lectures and events. We are an active member of GTS and our managing directors participate in the German DIN Standards Committee.

Of course, we are regularly represented at various trade fairs (e.g. ITSC, Welding and Cutting, etc.) and are happy to provide information about our products and services there.
GTV Colloquium
Every 2 or 4 years, we host a very special event: As part of our GTV Colloquium, we are pleased to offer our business partners, customers and competitors a platform to exchange information about the latest developments and trends - followed by a summer party!
